Stoneboro Real Estate
Stoneboro was named after Amasa Stone, was founded in 1866 and is known for being a mining town.
Stoneboro Lake is one of its most popular attractions with a beach area, fish to feed and boat launch dock. Being privately owned, it was closed to the public in 2017. Private swimming lessons are still being offered with plans being made to reopen the beach for weddings, meetings, etc. in the future.
Stoneboro Memorial Park has a playground, skate park, a gazebo and basketball courts for the community to enjoy.
One of the largest attractions to Stoneboro is The Great Stoneboro Fair which is always held over Labor Day weekend at the Stoneboro Fair Grounds.
The George Jr Republic built a sculpture for the community in 2016 to commemorate their 150 years.
The small close knit community has around 475 households and is a part of the Lakeview Area School District.
